This blog is dedicated to a unique and kind man who befriended me about 27 years ago. He was about my age and I enjoyed literally every minute of his company and conversation. Although he died relatively young, he touched many people's lives and his kindness towards me, my wife, and children endeared him to our family. I had hoped to share his friendship and humor well into the so called golden years, but that was not to be. I was fortunate and was able to tell him how much I valued his friendship and fellowship in our ongoing critique of the world and the people in it before his death.
I am scanning as many photographs which we have found of TJ, who disliked being photographed. I hope to obtain some of his writings from his mother Glenda Chandler and post them her for posterity. Like many, he aspired to write the Great American Novel. TJ loved computers and the internet. I think it appropriate to memorialize his memory on the internet, and for his friends to have a place to leave their thoughts and prayers without undue expense or pretense.
